Egypt has recently inaugurated the first phase of its newest city, New Mansoura, located along the northern Mediterranean coast of the Nile Delta region.

The city, which is expected to boost employment and tourism in the area, is considered one of the fruits of economic development in the new republic and is a capital of leisure and beach tourism in the Delta region.

Built on a 15km stretch of land, the city is aimed to invigorate the Nile Delta’s economy and represents 1.2% of the total area of Egypt, which includes the governorates of Dakahlia, Damietta, Gharbia, Kafr el Sheikh, and Menoufia. In his speech, the Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Assem el Gazar, said that the Delta region accounts for 40% of the population and 50% of Egypt’s food production. Hence, the establishment of New Mansoura City will help in the region’s development and facilitate its economic activities on the coastal axis.

The city is a sustainable and tourist services capital for the northern Delta, and it is expected to attract more investors and tourists to the region. It is also set to provide opportunities for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and start-ups, which will significantly contribute to the country’s economic growth. The establishment of New Mansoura University is also part of the city’s development plan, which will create job opportunities for graduates and contribute to the region’s development in research and education.

The inauguration of New Mansoura City is a significant milestone in Egypt’s economic growth, aimed at promoting investment, creating employment opportunities, and enhancing the country’s infrastructure.

New Mansoura City in Egypt is a state-of-the-art city that is expected to become a new hub for leisure, tourism, and culture. It is also built to accommodate over 1 million residents and provide them with the highest living standards.

The beachfront is expected to become a popular destination for tourists and locals alike, offering a range of recreational activities and water sports. The city also has a marina, which provides a docking area for boats and yachts and creates a new marine industry for the region.
